Fighting Cancer

I had breast cancer which had also spread to the lymph glands but now I am fine!

I had chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery but I wanted to do everything I could to rid myself of the cancer.

I found lots of information on the net which was very useful so I have listed it below and hope it helps others.

I believe the alkaline diet with lots of really fresh foods helped hugely.

I think it is also very important to be positive. I was lucky to have masses of support from my husband, family and friends. I was also very lucky that we have the family business - The Sign Maker. I could keep working and keep busy (but do less hours while the body was coping with the chemo etc.) I think this was important too.

Lastly, but certainly not least, I asked for help from the other side. My brother is does spiritual healing which he did every Wednesday evening for me. At the same time I sat quietly and asked for help. Also I would like to thank all family and friends who joined in as well.

Cancer Fighting Tips

Foods to avoid

Research in Cancer Watch has shown that glucose is the favourite food of a cancer cell, and animal fats are also known to drive cancer

Also avoid: -
Alcohol, Chocolate, Cocoa,Coffee, Tea, Fizzy drinks, Lack of sleep, Negative emotions, Preservatives, Jams etc, Products in vinegar, Salt and condiments; MSG, Sauces, Stress, Sugar, Sweets, Fried food, Cakes, Biscuits

I did not cut out all of above but did cut down a lot

Cottage Cheese and Flax Oil

The mixing ratio is two tablespoons of cottage cheese to one tablespoon of oil. Mix only the amount you are consuming at one time so it is mixed fresh each and every time. One example would be to mix (4) tablespoons of cottage cheese to (2) tablespoons of flax oil, consumed twice daily or more depending on the severity of the health condition, one is attempting to address. One should probably start slowly with the oil, maybe just once a day and work their way up letting the body adjust to the protocol. The oil and the cottage cheese must be thoroughly mixed at a low speed, using an Immersion Blender, blending until a creamy texture with no standing oil is achieved. I used this as a salad dressing

Add all/any the following for a cancer beating smoothie

Make up with almond milk and banana

Spirulina

To start with the recommended dosage is ½ teaspoon a day, gradually increasing to 3 teaspoons, taken with food or around an hour before mealtimes.

Reishi Mushrooms

Suggested dose is 1/2 - 1 tsp a day. Add to milks, smoothies, pates, salad dressings or chocolate. It is particularly good in chocolate, where the earthy mushroom tones complement the deep dark flavour of the chocolate.

Wheatgrass Powder
As a powder, wheatgrass can be mixed into water, juices, and smoothies or mixed into raw recipes. However, be careful which juices you mix it with, as wheatgrass is an alkaline substance you will need to avoid acidic juices such as orange and tomato. To start with, the recommended dosage is 2 teaspoons, gradually increasing to a tablespoon a day.
Organic Acai Powder

Add one scoop to smoothie

All the above are strong antioxidants - not to have until 7-10 days after chemotherapy.

Aloe Vera Juice

Manuka Honey

At least 3 teaspoons a day

Natural Vitamin D

Frankincense and Myrrh

These are both known to kill cancer cells.

I still use a few drops of frankincense essential oil in my baths now.

You can also drink Frankincense water -  soak 4 or 5 pieces of this resin in water overnight and drink the water. Tried it but did not like it!

Graviola Tea

Graviola is a tree that grows in South America. The leaves are made into a cancer beating tea
According to Purdue researchers acetogenins of graviola seemed to be able to affect cancer cells (and chiefly muliti-drug resistants ones). Acetogenins seem to inhibit the enzymatic processes that are only found in the membranes of cancerous tumor cells and block the transfer of ATP into those cells, without any harm to healthy cells.

At work they used to ask me if I wanted my gravy tea!

Eat Lots of Raw Food

This article is a bit intense but contains lots of useful information more info plus this article can be found here https://www.cancertutor.com/rawfood/
Vegetables Juices

The RAW vegetables you should focus on are: carrots, cabbage, green asparagus, broccoli, red beets (i.e. beetroot), beet tops, cauliflower and related vegetables. Peppers also have cancer fighting substances. The spice turmeric can be added as well.
AS A MINIMUM, the vegetable juice should include:
1) Carrot juice (1 to 2 quarts/liters),
2) Beet juice (from at least 2 red beets, with their beet tops)
3) A significant amount of cruciferous vegetables including: broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower (this is for both the cancer and the critical protection of the liver)

Important Note: Beetroot can cause the urine of a person to turn red. Thus, if you take beetroot and your urine turns red, it is not necessarily blood in the urine.
A small and decreasing amount of fruit juices which contain very little glucose can be added for taste (more will be said about this issue below). Not all vegetables can be eaten raw, but the ones above can be eaten raw or juiced. You can also EAT any of these vegetables during your treatment to get bulk and fiber.

Note:
Fiber can be an important element during or before a raw food or vegetable juice cleanse because it can help remove impacted wastes from the lining of the colon – allowing for maximum nutrient absorption. See this website:
Fiber Cleanse
Here are just a few of the cancer cell killing nutrients (direct or indirect) in vegetables:
Raw Carrots (alpha carotene, beta carotene, Vitamin E, etc.),
Raw Broccoli (sulforaphanes/isothiocyanates),
Raw cabbage (isothiocyanates),
Green Asparagus (saponins),
Beetroot/red beets (proanthocyanidins (PAC’s or OPC’s)), and
Turmeric (a spice) (curcurmin).
A vegetable juice using 1 quart of carrots is the minimum level of carrots that is acceptable. Vegetable juices with 2 quarts of carrots has also been used by many people.
At least 80% or above of the vegetable juice should come from vegetables with known cancer-fighting abilities, although other vegetables are not far behind the ones I just mentioned.

Fruit Juices
As an alternative to a vegetable juice, you could also make a fruit juice. Unlike the vegetable juice, for which you should only take 1 to 2 quarts of carrot juice per day, there is no limit to how many fruit juices you can have each day.
RAW fruits you should focus on are: purple grapes (with skins and seeds), red raspberries, black raspberries, strawberries, and other non-citrus fruits, with their seeds, especially peaches and apricots (the seed is inside a hard shell). Actually, any fruit with dark blue or dark purple coloring is acceptable, such as blueberries. Raw pineapple is especially good if you can get it and afford it. Tomatoes also have cancer fighting nutrients.
Here is a sample of the known cancer-killing nutrients in fruits:
Raw pineapple (bromelain and pexoxidase),
Whole purple grapes with seeds and skins (more than a dozen, see Grape Cure article),
Apricot seeds (laetrile),
Strawberries, red raspberries, black raspberries (laetrile and ellagic acid),
Blueberries (ellagic acid, anthrocyanins, OPC),
At least 80% or above of the fruit juice should come from fruits with known cancer-fighting abilities.
Obviously this is a modification of the Brandt Grape Cure, in the sense that a wider variety of cancer-killing fruits is allowed.
Also allowed on the “fruit juice fast” are the super-fruit juices: mangosteen, noni and wolfberry or goji. These are allowed during a “fruit juice fast” in unlimited quantities during the 12 hours the person is allowed to eat.

Diet Details and Warnings

Most raw food diets exclude all meats, all poultry, all fish and all dairy products (sometimes they allow butter because of its fat). There are several reasons why. Here is a quote from one article:
“Eating cooked food prevents the immune system from working on what is really important in keeping us superbly healthy and young in body, mind and soul. We exhaust and dissipate the body’s strength by using the immune system to combat the unnatural cooked foods, chemically based supplements, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, hormones (in meats, poultry, fish and dairy) and numerous other toxins we ingest, breathe in or absorb through our skin. When we really need the immune system to support us (as when a disease or infection develops or an injury occurs), it then lacks the strength to defend us properly.”

Keep the Body Alkaline

I believe this is really important in fighting off cancer.

Alkaline Foods
Although it might seem that citrus fruits would have an acidifying effect on the body, the citric acid they contain actually has an alkalinizing effect in the system.

Note that a food's acid or alkaline forming tendency in the body has nothing to do with the actual pH of the food itself. For example, lemons are very acidic, however the end products they produce after digestion and assimilation are very alkaline so, lemons are alkaline forming in the body. Likewise, meat will test alkaline before digestion, but it leaves very acidic residue in the body so, like nearly all animal products, meat is very acid forming.

Rub on bottom of feet in a carrier oil
Put in atomiser and spray everywhere
Ingredients
80 drops clove bud oil
70 drops lemon oil
40 drops cinnamon oil
30 drops eucalyptus oil (See Note)
20 drops rosemary oil
20 – 40 drops total other oils of choice, including melaleuca, frankincense, lavender, cedar, etc. (optional)
Method
1. Add oils, one by one, to your container of choice. (I used an old essential oil bottle that used to hold one of the oils in this blend.)
2. Shake bottle and use as desired.
